I’m writing a novel. It’s called ‘The Red Clogs of Rotterdam.’ I’ve been trying to write it for 13 years. My fault. I often get distracted. There have been many lapses and relapses. I’ve almost finished now. Well not almost but it’s getting there. This is my account of the process and my attempts to have it published. I don’t know how long I’ll keep up the blog. Probably till it’s published, I don’t know. Along the way I’ll put  some sample chapters up, character notes and some other stuff.

If nothing else this may serve as a guide of some sort to getting published or not getting published. Maybe it’ll serve as a warning to unpublished novelists. I’m not interested in being published for fame. I’d just like my stuff to be read by a bigger audience. I hope I this blog will be entertaining…sometimes…but always informative. Um…right. I’d better get into the bath now.
