Borderline

I’ve called this post Borderline because that’s the song I’m listening to now by Madonna. It’s really an underated, sweet pop song really. Actually Cappella’s Move on Baby has just come on.

Right news. As you know or you won’t know, I’m kind of promoting my recent book, Replika, which was completed 2006/2007 but has recently been reissued as an ebook, available on many digital platforms and stores from amazon to itunes to WHsmith and Waterstones. I’m pleased about it although since I have no manger and no money, promoting its existence is difficult. So I suppose I’ll probably spend the next few weeks trying to get a lot more interest than it did the first time (which it didn’t). This process will, I hope, serve as an experience and experiment should I wish to go down this route with Red Clogs.

One publisher I sent Red Clogs has not got back to me. This is fine and expected and forms part of the reason I made this blog in the first place. While I’m seeing if Replika will be successful, I’ll probably haul The Red Clogs of Rotterdam to some other publishers and agents and see how it goes down. It is a long term project anyway. I have a new short fiction collection which I’ll put out as an ebook next year and another novel I’m developing.

So as intended I’ll be posting other stuff relating to my novel and my experience of publishing.

Meanwhile if you do wish to purchase Replika and read more about it, you can check out http://www.kobobooks.com/ebook/Replika/book-vl_h-J5vZkyF0l7JTcawMw/page1.html
